Lance Hoppen joined Orleans in 1972 with his brother Larry before they released their debut album. By 1976 they had two top hits with "Dance with Me" and "Still the One". Since 76 the band has fallen apart, and reformed, fizzled out and sprung back to life more times than is worth counting.
